Clothing Closet Donation Day
Saturday, March 20, 2010

Our final donation day for the Clothing Closet will be on Saturday, March 20th from 9am–noon. Donations for credit will ONLY be accepted on this day! DO NOT take your donations to the school or put them in the blue barrels outside of Officer Byrd’s office. Donation credit will be issued for clothing donated, 1 hour for 5 items, maximum credit of 10 hrs (50 items).

The Clothing Closet has many needs, especially in school age children/youth clothing. Spring and summer items are especially needed this time of year. Their storage space is very limited so please remember this when gathering your items. They are also in desperate need of the following:

Men’s clothing – all sizes
Boy’s clothing – husky sizes
Casual clothing for young girls – suitable for a job that doesn’t require a uniform
Scarves for teen girls – I think she means the Pashmina type fashion scarves.
Ladies size med and large – more causal than dressy
Women extra large, all styles
Handbags
Gently worn shoes – for Easter
Jewelry
Long pants for men, women, ladies, youth and children

A final note: The Clothing Closet does not have a washer or dryer so please make sure your items are clean (you would be surprised!).
