Fine Arts
Through hands-on activities students in the fine arts programs (Art, Band, Chorus, Drama, Music Theory, & String Ensemble) master skills, techniques, and philosophies to explore and express their own artistic abilities.  Classes offer students the opportunity to develop creative problem-solving skills.  Through evaluating, critiquing, and articulating ideas, students grow in appreciation and understanding of other artists' work.  As a department, we hope to facilitate aesthetic appreciation and understanding in all students, and lay a solid foundation for future study for those who choose the fine arts as a career.
